Disclaimer (again, incase you didnt read the one in the first post): Me and the guy in this whole post are good friends. If you think there’s more, you are wrong (I mean, I share my guy problems to him!) This experience is such a wonderful one and I want to share it. So don’t think too much k? Just enjoy :)
yeahh!! continuing!!!
So we walked by foot to the flyer, which wasn’t that far at all. Got lost for a while, looked for the toilet, then dont know how to board till we found a big2 sign written “flight” something.. (ok wayfinding design is important) so we followed the direction and turned out it was the correct way.
The 2 petugas scanned our tics, and we got in. There were lots of interesting installation before you get to the actual flyer, which was unexpected. There’s this very pretty wall where they screen interesting patterns and pictures to it.

Then there’s another room where there are this interactive panel. If you touch the panel, the screen in front of you will react. I don’t know how to explain since it’s quite complicated and I didnt take any picture. It wasn’t that fun anyway.
The next room has another big screen, and from quite a distance, there was a torchlight looking thing. When you direct the torchlight to the screen, the range that the light from the torchlight is supposed to cover changes pic. The screen projects old singapore, the torchlight circle projects new singapore. Can imagine? No pics too.
The next turn was a long hallway with their awards I think. Photo for this one :D
Btw from the two pics, you can see my bad habit. I like peeling skin off my thumb, and it’s obvious in those two pics. Ci Joan says i need to stop :/ I know it’s kinda gross for people watching.. hahhaa
NEXT! was a room with 3 installation art. No pics, but cool art I think. There was one with lots of cool infographics CMC will flip.
Then there was the place with a huge green screen background where you can take pics. The photographer will take a pic of you and they will photomontage it to a few flyer backgrounds you can choose from. We were just standing and smiling. Should’ve done crazier pose man hahaha but that awkward pic will b a good memory.
After was a long hallway again, leading to the queue. It was pretty crowded so we decided to wait until that batch got into the capsule and plan to take the next one. But people kept coming so we thought no point waiting and just got back into the queue.

We took capsule D-3. Next to us was the capsule where you can book for dinner. It was romantic, they serve you wine and stuff. Chio sia! We share the capsule with an Indian family, probably newlyweds with their family cos a couple from that pack was stuck with each other hugging each other donno what all the time. Then, a couple (angmoh guy asian girl), and another 2 ladies, either sisters or friends.
Theeeen that Mikey kept saying “Kita naik flyer, euy” doooonno how many timesss I said to him say one more time I slap you. Hahaha but he said it again doooooonnnooo how many times still I didn’t slap him. Should’ve. Hahahhaa.
The capsule moved slowly. We all first sat nicely inside. But then as the capsule got higher, noone could stay seated. We all stood up taking pics. The view was amaziiinggg.. On the left was highways, HDBs and a golf field. But on the right side… Oh myyy… It was preetaayyyy.. We can see Mikey’s workplace, Mandarin Oriental, clearly. All the hotels and tall tall building with their lights (and people OTing inside), it was beautiful!! We can see suntec (Hello Ps Prince and Ps Kong!), and MBS was next to us!
I didn’t bring my camera (since the plan was spontaneous) so all pics were taken with Mikey’s BB Torch. (thinking of an Iphone now)

So we were on the flyer for half an hour and Mikey has stopped saying his annoying line. We went down and it led us to the souvenir shop, where we can see our pic taken earlier. He was first like no need la no need la we were so awkward. I wasn’t sure wether I should buy it or not cos it’s 20+. But then, this chance is very rare, and we got the tics for free somemore. So I asked him, buy or not? Then he was like up to you up to you. In the end, I decided to buy. Funny thing was, he was the one who paid for it. (I will pay him back la but the person who was most against buying was now the one paying. I found it funny)
